Registering Your ID Card for PaperCut Follow Me Printing
Before you can start using the PaperCut Follow Me printing system, you'll need to register your ID card. This is a one-time setup that allows the system to recognize you whenever you come to print. Here’s how you can do it:
Step 1: Collect Your ID Card
Obtain your ID card from the student care officers at your campus. This card will be used for printing and other identification purposes at APC.
Step 2: First-Time Registration at the Printer
1. Tap Your ID Card: Go to any Canon printer equipped with a card reader. Tap your ID card on the reader.
2. Follow On-Screen Instructions: The printer's display will guide you through the registration process. If your card is not yet registered, the printer will prompt you to link it to your user account by typing your email and password.
3. Confirm Your Details: You might need to enter your username and password, depending on the printer’s setup.
Once your card is registered, you can start using the Follow Me printing service immediately. Just tap your card at any printer to access and release your print jobs.
